With a unique seasonal menu, fresh fish and seafood products : the hotel restaurant is open to both hotel residents and visitors.
Our philosophy is to provide ‘surprise’ menu – a veritable feast of discovery ! (32€) consisting of :
a cocktail aperitif created by Katia
an ‘amuse bouche’ (appetiser), followed by a starter, main course (always fish) and dessert, all created by Xavier ...!
A great atmosphere is guaranteed ! From appetizer to dessert, Xavier, the chef, will not stop surprising you !

XAVIER MANIFET composing his culinary master pieces
For 22 years XAVIER worked with some of the greatest chefs : Lenôtre in Paris, the first French school of gastronomy and ; Valrhona, the school of chocolate ... He then became a pastry chef in a renowned Relais Château on the Île de Ré before leaving to open hotel Île Sous le Vent.
His love of ingredients, and especially dessert, express a philosophy that blends simplicity with audacity. Bronze medallist in the national Dessert Championship in 2003, Xavier displays a creative energy that will leave you bowed over !
Xavier’s great attention to detail in the fabulous pastries and other delicacies that he creates will leave you craving for more !
The restaurant has a ‘homemade’ label for the quality of its flavours and the use of produce from the Île de Ré. A truly inventive and warm cuisine !
